Utility Customer Service

Application for Service
Water customers must sign up for services at the Utility Office. A driver's license or valid form of identification is required for service.

Security Deposits
A security deposit is required at the time of application for residential and commercial customers. Accepted forms of payment for the deposit are cash, check or money order. The deposits required are as follows:

Residential/Commercial - $100.00

Disconnect/Reconnect Fees
Customers who request to disconnect or reconnect their services will be charge $20 for water.

Meter Access
The Meter Readers have the right to have access to the customer's premises in order to read, inspect or repair the meter. Meters must be kept free of debris, vegetation and snow. No locks are permitted which will restrict access to the meter.

Public Notification System
The Lehighton Water Authority utilizes Swift Reach 911 for a public callout system, please keep your contact information updated with the Utility Office in order to receive the phone calls and text messages. Please download our Emergency Contact Form, Fill in completely and return to the Water Authority.
